SYPOSIUMS
DEFINITION &
DURATION - A Symposium is a two day event which involves Lynn
working with an untrained horse in the round pen.
CURRICULUM - This
program includes Lynn taking a horse through all of the round pen
basics. If the horse is old enough to be broken to saddle, Lynn will
put the first one or two rides on the horse. If the horse is to young
to be broken to saddle she will progress through saddling, but will
not actually get on the horse.
If this program is done over a week-end, it can be combined with a
Demo (see below) on Friday evening.
PARTICIPATION -
Observers are encouraged to ask questions during this program as Lynn
works with the horse. There is no audience "hands on"

DEMOS
DEFINITION &
DURATION - A Demo can be almost any length. The two most common
time frames are 2-3 hours and all day.
CURRICULUM - A Demo
can be designed to be either very basic or more involved. A "very
basic" Demo would usually be presented as a 2-3 hour program
designed to explain and demonstrate the very basics of the John Lyons
Method. A "more involved" Demo would generally be a day long
event which goes into more detail about how specific training goals
are reached using the John Lyons Method. For the Demo, Lynn will be
using one of her own horses.
